Pantone Fall 2013 Color Trend: Samba

It’s another Pantone Fall 2013 Color Trend Day.  Today I thought I’d start this short work week with a bright vivacious color, Samba--a dramatic and expressive Red.

Rachel Roy for Pantone

Like its name, Samba literally dances with energy and is very expressive.  I believe to wear or use this particular shade of red or any red for that matter, you have to have confidence.  Be sure of yourself and who you are and use this color in your home.  So many of us can be apprehensive to use red in our homes, but there is no need to fear this color.  It sparks life in a room and adds some oomph!  Use it as little as possible if need be, with accents here and there.  Or if your a bold person, use it on the walls.

I am dying! I love anything red,and have to have a red piece of furniture in my rooms! My mouth fell open when I say the dining room. I don’t know if I could use that much red, but I love it, and the room you designed is, as always, stunning!
    Happy Tuesday.
